The conversation
What happens at a Melbourne penile augmentation consultation?
A penile augmentation consultation with Dr Nara in Melbourne is confidential and unhurried, held in a private examination room with a chaperone present. Dr Nara will discuss what you are hoping to change, examine the relevant anatomy, review your medical history, and talk through which technique — if any — is appropriate for you. Suitability is assessed honestly: not everyone who enquires is a suitable candidate, and that is said plainly.
The discussion covers the realistic range of outcomes, the limits of what augmentation can achieve and the full risks. Function, sensation, the urethral passage and blood supply to the soft tissues must be considered. The option of doing nothing is always a genuine option.
You are given time to consider the written information and ask follow-up questions before deciding whether to proceed. A consultation does not commit you to treatment, and the next steps depend on Dr Nara's assessment of suitability.
Getting to Chadstone
Where are Melbourne consultations held?
The Chadstone rooms sit within Chadstone Shopping Centre, with extensive on-site parking and access from the south-eastern suburbs and the Monash Freeway. Patients attend a confidential consultation from across Melbourne — the inner east, the bayside suburbs, the south-east and the western suburbs — as well as from regional Victoria and interstate.
For patients closer to the bay and the south-east, the alternate Chelsea Heights rooms offer a second consult location on selected dates. Reception will tell you which room has the next appointment, and a Zoom consultation can be the first appointment if you would prefer to begin remotely.
The Chadstone address is G120A / 1341 Dandenong Rd, Chadstone VIC 3148. Use the general booking page or call Chadstone reception on 03 9720 6300; alternate Chelsea Heights consults are at 93 Wells Road.
The consultation, in brief
What does the consultation cover?
Penile augmentation at RevAesthetic is a non-surgical cosmetic service concerning girth or shape. It does not increase penile length or treat erectile dysfunction. Dr Nara discusses the scope of the service, your suitability and whether doing nothing may be the appropriate option.
A full clinical overview, including discomfort, bruising, numbness or altered sensation, lumps and asymmetry, is on the penile augmentation pillar page. Reading on what the procedure costs and what a written quote includes is in the cost article.
Cosmetic procedures carry risks. These are discussed openly at consultation, in the context of your circumstances. The risks of surgery page gives a fuller factual overview.
